Provincial Towns of Granada

• Punic-Phoenician Period
  Three important Punic-Phoenician necropolises which from Laurita (Vlll-Vllth C.B.C.) contains more than 20 burial sites. The one from Velilla is from the Vll-Vth C.B.C. The one from Puente de Noy was used during the Vll-l C.B.C.
• Roman Period
  El Majuelo Park, the Cave of the 7 Palaces, today housing the archaeological museum of Almuñécar and remains of walls in some of the houses of the old quarters, arches, water tanks.
• Arab Period
  The Castle and several watch towers next to the coastline, as well as remains of walls in some of the houses of the old quarters, arches, water tanks and other constructions.
• Christian Period
  The Parish Church of the Incarnation, which was built towards the end of the XVth Century.
• Modern Times
  The little palace of Najarra in neo-Arab style was built in the mid-eighteen hundreds. The Cross over the famous Holy rock. Monument to the Phoenicians on the boardwalk and the great bronze statue of Emir Abd-Al-Rahmman 1.
